Slurry Pot
Slurry Pots The prepared slurry from the slurry mixer is fed to the slurry pots. This machine is also known as dipping pot, as wax trees are dipped into slurry held in this pot. This slurry is kept under continuous stirring throughout its use, in order to prevent the settling or separation of heavier refractories used in the slurry.
The dipping pot is a SS304 rotating drum type tank, which rotates against a fixed baffle located within the inner periphery of the tank. The SS tank is provided with a removable Polypropylene lining.
The slurry pots are available in diameters of 600, 750, 1000, 1200, 1500 and 1800mm with appropriate drives.
Slurry pots
This is the slurry dipping pot to invest ceramic slurry on the wax trees. This vertical rotating drum, rotates the slurry against a baffle fixed at the inner periphery of the tank, for agitation. The SS drum has a Polypropylene lining for ease of cleaning and maintenance.
- Rotating drum type, stirred uniformly with ‘U’ type baffle.
- The rotating SS vessel rotates on a steel shaft within sturdy frictionless bearings. The machine is provided with a heavy, sturdy and stable steel base frame.
- An AC reduction geared motor is coupled with a belt drive arrangement to drive the rotating drum at a smooth preferred rpm.
- The rotating drum is covered with MS powder coated drum for operator safety.
- The rotating SS drum has a Removable Polypropylene Lining, for ease of cleaning and maintenance and substantially enhances usable life of the machine.
