Secondary Slurry Mixers This is a single, vertical conical drum provided with a retractable variable speed propeller.
The propeller design ensures hi-shearing forces causing sufficient agitation within the slurry to yield a thorough mix.
The single drum can accommodate up to 600Kgs @75% usable volume of the vessel. This is also known as the hi-shear mixer.

This is a single, vertical fixed conical drum provided with a retractable propeller. The propeller design ensures hi-shearing forces causing sufficient agitation within the slurry to yield a thorough mix. The single drum can accommodate up to 300Kgs depending on formulation. This is also known as hi-shear mixer.
- The stirrer is mounted on a separate fixed steel structure.
- The stirrer shaft is pretensioned between two taper roller bearings within a cast iron bearing box. The drive motor is mounted on the cast iron bearing box.
- The conical shape of the vessel ensures complete and continuous turnover of the slurry volume, ensuring a uniform mix-phase throughout the tank.
- Control Panel: The control system provides a MIX function - the mixer continuously operates for the preset time, set & indicated on a digital timer. End of mixing is indicated on the tower lights status indicator.
- The Mixing vessel can hold up to 300Kgs. Slurry.
- Overall size, 1200mm X 1200mm X 1500mm Ht.
- A 1.5Hp, 900rpm, 3phase motor of reputed make drives the stirrer shaft.
- A VFD for Stepless speed control of the stirrer provides for various mix speeds allowing High Shear or gentle Stirring of the slurry.
- A dust proof cabinet is mounted on a separate stand. The cabinet will house Contactor, MPCB with all necessary protection.
